Beliefs

So it kinda goes against what I believe in with denim. I'm not into what the latest celebrity is wearing. But there is no denying the effect that spotting a celebrity in a certain brand of denim can catapult it to become a huge success. Case and point would be Kasil jeans. Kasils have long made a great product but only after Brad Pitt, Jennifer Anniston and Angelina Jolie were spotted in them, did they become a sorta denim household name. And in some ways that is fantastic because a lot of these brands deserve credit for making a great product. But just because Jenn is wearing it, doesn't mean it's gonna be a great fit for everyone. Case and point, the William Rast jeans that Jessica Simpson wore last year were not a universal for most women. If they looked great on you, they looked great but they didn't work on everybody who happened to want them. So truly you never really know...

One such brand with a loyal celebrity following is Lofli. I'd heard of it before because I knew one of the designers had worked with Gloria Vanderbilt. And in the 70's/80's Gloria Vanderbilt jeans were the ones to own! Tight, dark and skinny...they were rockstar flash for sure! So I wasn't 100% certain Lofli would work for Jean Therapy.

I was pleasant surprised when I saw the fits. Nothing too low, nothing stupidly too tight on the thighs. The back pocket was short when it needed to be and longer on other shapes. It was a great product because of the way they adapted the back pocket to fit the jean.

We just got some new arrivals from Lofli so you can try them out yourself. We picked up a midrise bootcut jean in a medium dark color and a really cool skinny jean that I'm very impressed by. The inner seam on the leg of the skinny jean is pushed forward so it will give the wearer the illusion of a slimmer leg. The back pocket is smaller and sits a bit shorter which will lengthen out the leg. The engineering on this jean is quite amazing to me and I can't wait to try it out on customers!

So if you're one who really loves to wear what your favorite celeb has on, come on in and try on a pair of Lofli's because chances are very good that some A-lister has worn them and loved them too!
